Passage 1Your firm failed to establish and follow appropriate written procedures that are designed to prevent microbiological contamination of drug products purporting to be sterile, and that include validation of all sterilization processes (21 CFR 211.113(b)).
Passage 2Your firm failed to have, for each batch of controlled-release dosage form, appropriate laboratory determination of satisfactory conformance to the specifications for the rate of release of each active ingredient (21 CFR 211.167(c)).

FDA may withhold approval of new applications or supplements listing your firm as a drug manufacturer until any violations are completely addressed and we confirm your compliance with CGMP. We may re-inspect to verify that you have completed corrective actions to address any violations.
